Summer Natural Hair

Part 8 in the Summer Hair Series is Natural Hair- African American women are embracing their own natural hair. Many African American women have decided to do away with those harsh relaxers that damage the hair and scalp. I am not a natural girl, though I do not relax as often as I used to. I sometimes wear my hair so that it appears to be natural by washing and braiding to get a wavy pattern.
