I have a love hate relationship with matte lipsticks. I love the way they look, and the staying power, but they are really too dry for my lips. In liquid or solid form, I must use a lip balm before applying any matte lipstick to my lips. The lip balm causes the lipstick to not have the same amount of staying power as it does when used alone. A matte lipstick used with a lip balm still outlasts traditional lipsticks, so I guess it's worth the extra effort. Take a look at some of the beautiful shades of matte lipsticks available.
