Part 6 in the Summer Hair Series is the Afro- The Afro is one of the most carefree hairstyles known to African American women. Sure you have to wash, trim, condition and maintain moisture, but you no longer have to relax or worry about getting caught in the rain. You can wear it long, or opt for a short Afro which allows you to just wash and go. I have included some inspiration down below, take a look and let me know what you think.
If you don't want to wear the Afro as a permanent hairstyle, you can simply wear an Afro wig.
